Beginners Workshop February 2013 – Review
A day in the life of an organizer – Feb 22nd 2013, Berlin, Germany
7am Rrrrrring – the alarm goes off…still a little tired from the installation party a night before… but: today is the workshop – a very good reason not to sleep in!
9am meeting the other organizers at the supermarket for some last-minute shopping
9:30 hanging up posters and balloons all around co_up so everyone will find their way
also: arranging the tables, filling the fridge with – most importantly – Mate and other beverages
9:45 welcoming the attendees who start arriving now, cooking lots of coffee
10:00 chatting, getting to know the girls, handing out name tags, checking off
the attendees‘ list
10:45 cooking some more coffee
12:00 picking up the sandwiches for lunch – they look delicious 🙂
16:30 hanging out on the sofas and chatting a bit with the other organizers
17:30 giving out Railsgirls-Berlin-buttons
18:00 wrapping up and saying good-bye to all those who long for their bed after learning so many new things
19:00 heading to Aufsturz with the rest of the attendees and coaches to relax after a long, exciting day
